Independent Study

Today in class, students will be working investigating the reasonings why European nations invested so much into the exploration of the uncharted world.  Students will look into the challenges these nations encountered with this investment, but also they will find the benefits they received from this expansion. While students research their questions, I will be having a discussion with each individual student pertaining to their “Creative Connection” projects.

Also during class, we will be looking at the data results from the 2012 Election.  Most information will come from the New York Times website.  New York Times does a great job organizing the results in “handy” visual maps. The presidential results are important, but we will also look at other votes that show us the direction of our country.
