  1. They risked having to start all over like not having a army or any tools, houses, and factories. They also risked not having any allis to help in battle. They also risk being hated by England and the king, they also risk being attacked by England and others countries.
They signed The Declaration of Independence because they wanted to be free and have own laws own rights. They also wanted to be under there own control cause they were not satisfied with the rules and laws.

  2. Americans were risking many thing when they wanted to come to America. I think they were doing the right thing because they want to be free and away from Britten. Everybody that was coming over from Britten was not just risking their lives but their family and everything then had. Britten could of went over there and invaded there new country.

They signed the paper to become free. Everybody wanted to become free so they signed the paper and sent in to the king. The 50 most rich people signed the paper and thats how we became a country.

  3. They did this because they really wanted to be independent. They didn’t want to be part of Great Britain anymore. They didn’t want their laws to take months to pass. The king wants control of the colonies but they do not want him to. The king is causing trouble with the colonists. They won’t allow them to create their own laws. The British Army is watching over them and they want them to stop. They have cut off the ability to trade with some countries. They are adding taxes to them without telling them. They are taking away their rights to have trial. They have kidnapped citizens of the American Colonies. They have broken up their military. By doing these actions the British Army may come over there and start fighting.

  4. They are risking it so that way we are not over ruled by New England. If New England came over we would probably be in trouble. If we didn’t have the declaration of Independence countries could maybe come and take over the U.S.
They took a big risk they kissed New England butt and they didn’t get what they wanted. They took the risk to have a free country. They tried and tried and tried but New England was not very happy. Then they didn’t want to be under New England rules so thats why we made the declaration of independence. And thats why the made the declaration of independence. Thats what risks they took and why they took them.

  5. The reason they risked it was so that they had freedom but it could have came with a consequence. By the king but they said that we don’t care anymore we have freedom here and you can take there lives but you cant take there freedom. The reason they signed the declaration of independents was that every man was equal and that they wanted there own laws and govern. The people we not happy in England and the king was mad so he wanted them to die and to stop rebelling against him. So he made mercenaries go after them which the mercenaries had no problem killing or torchering them.

  6. Britain could declare war on America. Everyone should be happy. Be able to be free. Also, their life should not be at risk of any harm. They would not let us be free even thought they were across the ocean. They disbanded our leaders whenever we complain about human rights abuses. They made it hard to practice the law.

  7. American’s faced lots of risks when they signed the Declaration of Independence. But in the end, it all was worth it. If they hadn’t signed it life would be very different today. We might not have as much freedom. They risked not having any allies if they had to go to war. They risked their families and everything they had. They risked having to start all over. They risked being hated by all of England. They took these risks so that they could be free of England and be an independent country. They wanted to be free of Great Britain, and they also didn’t want their laws to take months to be passes. If we didn’t have the Declaration of Independence other countries could take over the United States.

  8. They faced the risks of being put to war with England and they did’t have enough control to stop them. England was mad at them for leaving and wanting to become there own country with their own laws and powers. They felt like they weren’t being treated like real humans in England. They wanted to start a fresh new life in America. They made and signed the Declaration of Independence to make their own laws to be independent from England. Some reasons they wanted to be independent were the king of England wasn’t treating them like human and he wasn’t treating those who did this wrong right. He didn’t punish them.

  9. They are risking starting a war that could potentially involve the rest of the world, just because they want independence.
They signed the declaration of independence for a number of reasons, for example: the king of England had kidnapped citizens of our colony on the seas, and turned them in to his own soldiers only to fight their own brothers and sisters here.
They were also tired of kissing England’s butt so many years even though they where so far away from them.

  10. They risked because they wanted to be free from British. They wanted to be free from the king because they are making what they want them to do.

  11. They risked it because they wanted to be free from the British and there King. When they were making America they made and signed a paper that started America.

  12. They risked geting caught by the King of England. They could have ben invaded or people could have ben kidnapped. They wanted to be there own country so they took those risks. They want to have there own rules and there own land.
