  1. Sudan
    Political
Sudan’s strategic location could allow it to become one of the most politically influential players in the sub-Saharan Africa. In the future this could lead to tremendous foreign direct investment.
A big political question for Sudan is whether to keep its current boundaries or to allow the south to secede, forming its own nation.
The relationship of Sudan to the rest of the world is important especially to countries like the United States. Alliance with these countries consist of enormous benefits.
    Economic
There isn’t a lot of money in Sudan.
Oil is the biggest resource to Sudan and it makes up most of the income for Sudan.
They’re in major debt because of the conflicts/war among the sudanese people and the Janjaweed.
    Social
Lots of people have died caused by a disease.
Thousands of money could be saved if they made a program for the diseases.
If Sudan goes into war again they won’t be able to raise money since they have enough debt already.

Other neighboring countries could be drawn into the chaos if the African Union can’t effectively negotiate and enforce a workable peace plan for Darfur.
